Water bills could go up by some 29% over the coming years after the Water Industry submitted their plans to Ofwat.
The ten largest water companies in Britain have proposed spending £22.5 billion on network upgrades from 2010 to 2015, which produces a total average increase in their annual charges to customers of nearly seven percent.
