One Minute COD Test?
LAR Process Analysers AG has created an on-line measuring system for determining COD within a minute. The QuickCOD® COD analyser has been engineered to work without catalysts and utilises temperatures of more than 1200°C. LAR believes that this ensures that previously difficult to combust compounds are oxidised rapidly and effectively. The QuickCOD operates in a batch mode with the COD analysed in 1 minute. The QuickCOD can measure in the range from 100mg/l COD to 200,000mg/l COD. The QuickCOD also has a patented filtration free sample preparation system as the sample is taken in the centre of a sample stream against the direction of the main flow.
