Anoxic tank, improved aeration systems, tertiary sand filters, additional settlement tank, with the existing plant containing balancing tank, anaerobic digester, high rate filter, and activated sludge tanks.

msa were called in following the catastrophic failure of a new IRE£2.0 million effluent treatment system. Several design errors were found which necessitated the addition of the plant listed above. Competitive tenders were obtained for all items of plant with full technical assistance provided throughout installation.
