Millie Caple joined the team in August 2019 and has progressed through to Senior Environmental Scientist.

Her background is in Geography and she has a BSc Physical Geography & Geology from the University of Plymouth.

Millie is a very capable practical scientist and is our expert in staining analysis for microscopic studies!

If you had to explain your role to a 10-year-old, how would you describe it?

We help the companies who make your favourite food and drink brands to protect the environment.

 

Are you more of a morning person or a night owl?

Neither! I find I am more productive in the middle of the day.

 

If you could visit anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Iceland to see the diverse volcanic landscape and Northern Lights in full force!

 

What is your favourite film?

Interstellar. A fantastic plot and excellent soundtrack by Hans Zimmer!

 

If you could become an expert at one skill, what would it be?

To become an expert Theremin player.
