Lottie Newton, our Environmental Scientist, joined MSA in August 2024 after graduating from the University of Bath, with a Masters in Chemistry.
Lottie is a very positive, fun and high energy person who can brighten up any room. Lottie sees the fun or amusement in many a situation and her laugh can often be heard around the MSA office.
In her spare time, Lottie is a keen horse rider and weight trainer, with impressive bench press, squat and deadlift stats! If she is not at the gym, you might find her perusing the Spotted in Trowbridge Facebook page or the shelves of the local Lidl, as she is a Lidl super fan!
Lottie is an ardent supporter of Bath and England Rugby and has an impressive knowledge of the game. She is also a beginner darts player and regularly informs the team of the ‘180s’ that she hits at home…
Lottie is also a keen and talented baker, often impressing the team with her home baked goods. Whether its a board game or quiz, Lottie get involved and is a very competitive person and doesn’t take defeat too kindly, but thankfully for the team this doesn’t happen too often!
I enjoy the variability of our work, no two days are the same! I also really appreciate the opportunities to travel to different places when out on site visits.
Being able to promote sustainable water use and improve out clients’ environmental performance for the benefit of our planet.
Definitely New Zealand, I’d love to experience some of the amazing landscapes and wildlife in real life!
Game of Thrones is a tough one to beat, I’d love to be able to watch it for the first time again!
Going to the gym and baking – I’ve always heard that the best scientists are also the best bakers, which makes sense to me!
